Hi all, welcome to my very own, very first BLOG! I know it's a fright, Lisa and technology don't really mix but I"m trying! Ok, where to start. First of all, Lisa Power Salon just turned 2 on July 5th..so that's exciting! Thank you for all of your support to our lovely clients....for those of you that haven't been in....hurry up!
Next, I am happy to report that we had a very successful fund raiser for the Susan G Komen 3 day walk. Jeremy's sister, Stacy, is doing the walk this year in honor of their mother, Sydney(who is my friend and a cancer survivor) so the team at Lisa Power Salon worked all day on Sunday June 22nd and we raised $3,000. That was just 4 of us doing hair...so hopefully that motivates people to do something for someone else. It just goes to show what a difference a few people can make with a little bit of effort...ok and champagne!
Now, on to business...This week we are launching 2 new services. One is called Styling Coaching and the other is a new relaxer. Are you ready? Styling Coaching is a service for the stying impaired client who is tired of going home and unable to recreate the "look" at home. We will walk you through proper product selection and applications, brush and tool uses and coach you while you style your hair. That's right, we get paid to watch you work!
The new relaxer is super exciting! I feel that this is the new technology I've been waiting for (and I've been in this industry for a long time). It is called the Keratin Complex Hair Therapy Smoothing System by Coppola. Basically it is a way to smooth and relax the hair with NO DAMAGE! It lasts 3 - 5 months, makes the hair silky and shiny and not flat to your head straight. Depending on hair length, it will take 2 - 4 hours and cost $350 and up (depending on who you see). If you have frizzy, fuzzy, curly, damaged hair and you want it straighter and healthier, this is the treatment for you!!!! Yeah!
That's all for now, I will keep you posted..Things to come, trip to Vegas, trips to LA, trip to the Omak Stampede.
